Anglet, Cavaliers
C’est le spot mythique d’Anglet, il n’est pas rare de voir une centaine de surfers à la quête d’un tube sans fin. Ce spot tient bien la houle et les vagues sont consistantes. Au large de la plage une grande fosse marine la rend spécifique par rapport aux autres plages ; c’est un véritable aimant à vagues, en effet les vagues sont plus hautes. Les bancs de sable à l’outside génèrent des vagues bien solides à marée basse. À marée haute, le shore break peut être mauvais. Le pic est facilement joignable le long du chenal de la jetée. Malgré la digue qui protège du vent les pics triangulaires et le plan d’eau du clapot, le courant est puissant. Au menu, une droite tubulaire qui part le long de la digue, et un pic situé en face du poste de secours. Ce spot a accueilli, et accueille encore des compétitions de surf de classe internationale.
