La Ciotat, Plage Lumière
Spot de Windsurf et de wing toute l'année (chenal Saint-Jean) et de Kitesurf hors période estivale qui commence lorsque le plan de balisage est en place (début juin - mi-septembre). La zone de décollage est tendue, peu de place et la route juste derrière avec une grosse dévente au bord par vent d'Est. Elle se situe à l'extrême Est de la plage, le reste de la plage étant réservé aux surfeurs et baigneurs. Le Spot marche de Sud-Est à Sud pour le kitesurf avec de belles vagues par Sud-Est. Toutes les allures d'Est à Ouest sont bonnes à prendre pour wingsurf et windsurf. Le thermique fonctionne à 10/15 nds l'été. Plage très courte, nombreuses digues, inadapté aux débutants. En hiver le thermique ne marche pas, sinon c'est mistral et c'est KO aussi. Été spot de replis kitesurf depuis la corniche Arène-Cros (bien sûr interdit de la plage lumière), départs wing et wind exclusivement depuis le chenal Saint-Jean.
