Oléron - Les Huttes
FR : LE Spot de Kitesurf, de Wingsurf et de Windsurf d’Oléron. Fonctionne par vent de Sud-Ouest à Nord. Les vagues se forment à mi-marée et à marée basse au large sur un plateau rocheux. Les vagues sont très puissantes et plutôt dangereuses. Devant la vague, c’est tout plat, il y a une sacrée zone d’élan avant d’aller s’envoyer en l’air sur les vagues. A marée haute il y a un énorme shore break sur les galets, mieux vaut alors aller sur le spot des 3 pierres. Le Thermique peut être assez véloce sur ce spot. A noter que la zone de kite est sur la droite de la plage. Attention, ce spot est bondé l’été : des baigneurs, des débutants et freestylers dans le lagon… Merci à Martin's pour les informations :) --------------- FR : THE Kitesurf, Wingsurf and Windsurf spot of Oleron. Operates with a South-West to North wind. Waves are formed at mid-tide and low tide on a rocky plateau. The waves are very powerful and rather dangerous. In front of the wave, it's all flat, there is quite a run-up area before you go to get into the air on the waves. At high tide there is a huge shore break on the pebbles, so it's best to go to the 3 stones spot. The thermal can be quite fast on this spot. Note that the kite zone is on the right side of the beach. Be careful, this spot is crowded in summer: swimmers, beginners and freestylers in the lagoon...
