FR : Spot de Surf, kitesurf, windsurf et wingsurf pour experts ! C'est LE spot de vague de la Sardaigne ! Le spot de Capo Mannu en Sardaigne est une barrière de corail exposée. Le spot fonctionne assez régulièrement, bien que l'été ait tendance à être plutôt plat. La plupart des vagues se présentent sous la forme de houles et la direction idéale des vagues vient du sud-ouest. Les meilleures conditions viennent quand le vent souffle du sud-ouest puis vire vers le nord-ouest. Pas de reef break ici. Le spot est parfois bondé. Méfiez vous des rochers et des habitants. Ce spot est également un spot de vague réputé quand le vent souffle mais il est très sélectif : il ne faut pas y aller seul. Le spot prend les vents de Sud-Est à Nord-Nord-Ouest (Side shore sur la vague). Pour le Windsurf, il est possible de sortir par un chenal sur la gauche du spot. En kite, tu dois partir de la plage de "Spiaggia di Putzu Idu" située plus à l'Est et tirer un bord vers l'Ouest pour atteindre le Reef avec un vent qui est Offshore sur tout le parcours ! Dans la vague, il faut bien faire attention à ne pas être trop gourmand, sinon l'erreur peut se payer cash sur les rochers ! Merci à Alex et Olivier pour la collecte de ces informations. This is THE wave spot in Sardinia ! The spot of Capo Mannu in Sardinia is an exposed coral reef. The spot works quite regularly, although the summer tends to be rather flat. Most of the waves are swells and the ideal wave direction is from the southwest. The best conditions come when the wind blows from the southwest and then veers to the northwest. No reef breaks here. The spot is sometimes crowded. Beware of rocks and locals. This spot is also a famous wave spot when the wind blows but it is very selective: you should not go alone. The spot takes winds from South-East to North-North-West (Side shore on the wave). For Windsurfing, it is possible to exit through a channel on the left of the spot. In kite, you have to start from the beach of "Spiaggia di Putzu Idu" located more in the East and to draw an edge towards the West to reach the Reef with a wind which is Offshore on all the course!
