Marée du port : LE TREPORT
Wimereux
Spot célèbre de kite, de wing et de windsurf. Belles vagues, plus grosses qu’à Wissant mais pas aussi puissantes. Ca saute et ça surf par Sud à Sud-Ouest. Par vent de Nord-Ouest à Nord, c’est plutôt freeride. A marée haute, le spot est compliqué en windsurf et impraticable en kite (à marée haute, par gros coefficient, il y a un ressac avec la digue ce qui rend le spot impraticable). Beaucoup de monde sur ce spot. L’été, le spot est interdit au kitesurf avant 19h, il faut descendre plus au sud, sur le spot de la Rochette pour kiter. Évidemment, le vent dominant est également sud ouest (side onshore), on peut naviguer partout sur le spot à marée basse (Le fort sort de l’eau à marée basse juste en face du club, ce qui permet d’avoir 100 mètres tout plat pour arriver sur les vagues avec un maximum de vitesse). Quand le vent est ouest (onshore), les vagues peuvent être très grosses et le plan d’eau devient alors un vrai chantier ! -----------------------
