Marée du port : CARTERET
Carteret
Spot de Windsurf et de Wing side-shore tribord part vent de Nord-Ouest. Ce Spot fonctionne à marée haute, le top est une heure après la marée haute car des vagues se forment sur un banc de sable. Ces vagues ne sont pas aussi belles que plus au nord. A marée basse, la mer se retire extrêmement loin, il y a un clapot monstrueux dans l’estuaire de la rivière et c’est remplie de cailloux, bref à éviter. Par ouest-sud-ouest c'est on-shore et ca tamponne au bord. Bien plus formée qu'à Barneville, la houle reste cependant très atténué à marée basse. L'avantage par rapport à Barneville c'est qu'il y a tout de suite un peu de vague pour jouer. Quand les coefficient sont inférieures à 60, le spot est navigable tout le temps. Pour des coefficients supérieurs, il faut éviter la marée haute et la marée basse. Sur ce spot, les vague sont assez fuyante. Le courant vous déporte régulièrement sous le vent au bord quelque soit la marée. Au descendant il est toutefois moins sensible au bord. Très clapoteux au large on peut tout de même trouver de bonne section à surf notamment au bord à marée haute et le long de la falaise au début du descendant. Attention à ne pas casser au large car le courant est fort. -------------
