Porto Pino
FR : Spot de Kitesurf, de wing et de windsurf. Le vent d’Ouest (Ponente) et le Sud-Ouest (Libeccio) soufflent assez bien tout au long de l’année. Le vent du nord-ouest (Mistral) qui prédomine en Sardaigne, souffle dans la baie side shore et est généralement très rafaleux. Le vent du sud-est (Scirocco) souffle également sideshore et en rafale dans la baie. Les vents à Porto Pino sont presque toujours rafaleux. Porto Pino est intéressant uniquement pour ses eaux cristallines et son long rivage, mais ne convient pas aux débutants. Le vent souffle généralement en rafales et l’eau est agitée avec de petites vagues. Porto Pino est particulièrement apprécié pour ses vagues de l’automne au printemps, tandis qu’en été (mi juin – mi septembre) le kitesurf est interdit en raison de la présence de nombreux baigneurs et de l’absence de zone dédiée. Le reste de l’année, vous pouvez faire du kite dans la première partie de la plage ou à la fin de celle-ci, là où se trouvent les dunes. Quoi qu’il en soit, les meilleurs vents dans ce spot sont le Scirocco (soufflant du Sud-Est) et le Libeccio (soufflant du Sud-Ouest). Ces vents n’apportent pas de vagues donc ce sont les meilleurs vents même pour les débutants. Le vent d’Ouest, qui peut créer de grosses vagues, et le Mistral (soufflant du Nord-Ouest), rafaleux et généralement très fort, ne conviennent pas aux débutants. The north wind (Tramontana) blows very strong, gusty and cold into the bay throughout the winter season (even at over 50 knots). The winds in Porto Pino are almost always gusty. Porto Pino is interesting only for its crystal clear waters and long shoreline, but is not suitable for beginners. The wind is usually gusty and the water is rough with small waves. Porto Pino is particularly popular for its waves from autumn to spring, while in summer (mid-June to mid-September) kitesurfing is prohibited due to the presence of many bathers and the lack of a dedicated area. The rest of the year you can kite in the first part of the beach or at the end of the beach where the dunes are. Anyway, the best winds in this spot are the Scirocco (blowing from the South East) and the Libeccio (blowing from the South West). These winds do not bring waves so they are the best winds even for beginners. The West wind, which can create big waves, and the Mistral (blowing from the North-West), gusty and usually very strong, are not suitable for beginners.
