Pointe Saint-Gilles
C'est pas un spot pour débutant. Pas mal de courant à cause de la lagune qui se vide ou se remplit selon la maréé. Pour le kitesurf, une plage relativement petite bordée de rochers qui compliquent le décollage. On peut se garer sur un parking pile en face du spot. Saint-Gilles se pratique à toutes les marées pour le freeride. Si la houle de sud-ouest se lève on peut y pratiquer de la vague sur le banc de sable formé par le courant du Letty, il faut donc arrivée à mi marée pour que l eau commence à recouvrir la zone. La vague est creuse et rapide, et si on se rapproche trop du bord, gare à la devente et au courant qui peut t emmener dans la lagune, rien de bien grave, on sait nager vers le bord puis marcher.
