La Pelosa
FR : Spot de Kitesurf, Windsurf, Wing. La plage de La Pelosa a été classée à plusieurs reprises comme l’une des plus belles plages d’Europe. Un banc de sable blanc avec une vue directe sur la tour de Stintino. Le lieu est préservé et il est interdit de voler du sable sur ces plages ! Avec le Grecale (Nord-Est), le vent dominant dans la zone, la mer est assez agitée. Le vent est alors Side-On. La violence du vent rend ce spot très propice a la pratique du big air. Dans certain cas, il est possible de prendre des bonnes vagues spécialement lorsque le vent vient de l’Est (Levant). Le Grecale peut facilement dépasser les 30 noeuds créant une mer très agitée. Durant ces conditions, le spot n’est pas vraiment adaptée au débutants et même ceux avec un niveau intermédiaire doivent être prudent. Attention : il y a des rochers dangereux dans certaines parties du spot. De même, les jours de fort vents orientés on shore, il faut sauter loin de la plage pour ne pas atterrir sur le sable. The beach of La Pelosa has been repeatedly ranked as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. A white sandbank with a direct view of the tower of Stintino.
